Using our cookie banner
When you first visit the Site, a cookie banner asks for your preference. You can change your choice at any time by clicking the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page. This reopens the banner so you can update your selection. Your new choice replaces the previous value stored in asmatk_cookie_consent and takes effect straight away.
Using your browser settings
You can also view and delete cookies and site data, including localStorage, through your browser. The exact steps vary between versions, but the general approach in the most common browsers is:

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Do Not Track (DNT) is a browser setting that sends a signal to websites asking them not to track you. There is no universally agreed standard for how websites should respond to DNT. Because the Site does not track you across websites and does not load analytics or advertising tools by default, there is nothing for a DNT signal to switch off under our current setup.
Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a browser signal that communicates your request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. Some laws, including California privacy law, require businesses to honor it. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If we introduce optional analytics in the future, we intend to treat a GPC signal as a refusal of that optional category, so analytics would not load for browsers sending the signal.
Legal basis for storage
We store asmatk_cookie_consent because it is strictly necessary to remember and respect your privacy choice, which is permitted without consent under the ePrivacy rules and PECR. Our legitimate interest in demonstrating that we have respected your choice also supports this storage under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Any future optional analytics would rely on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, which you could withdraw at any time through the "Cookie settings" link.
Updates to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we change how the Site works, add or remove technologies, or when the law changes. We will always update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
